10 heads, 28 legs. How many chickens and rabbits?
Leo asks, Lily answers. Watch two kids talk through a classic puzzle in about two minutes, then try the challenge before the timer runs out.
How to watch
- 1Tap Start and turn your sound on. Each line is voiced, and the animals act out the math.
- 2Tap 中 / EN any time to switch language. The voices, captions and problem all switch together.
- 3Use ◀ and ▶ to go back over a step, or pause and ask your child what comes next.
The trick to rememberPretend they're all chickens. Missing legs ÷ 2 = rabbits.Every chicken you swap for a rabbit keeps the heads the same and adds 2 legs.
Challenge answer (no peeking!)
20 heads, 56 legs: all chickens would be 40 legs, so 16 are missing. 16 ÷ 2 = 8 rabbits, and 20 − 8 = 12 chickens. Check: 12×2 + 8×4 = 24 + 32 = 56.

Make an animation like this for any math problem.
This lesson was built with Math Story, a free Skill for AI agents such as Claude Code and Codex. Give it a kids' math problem and it solves and checks the math, writes the two-kid dialogue, voices it in English and Chinese, and builds a page like the one above.
- Download the Skill and unzip it into your agent's skills folder.
- Ask your agent: “Use math-story to explain this problem: …”
- Open the page it builds, or screen-record it as a video.
